Divine Dew Drops

At a Glance

Premium Yin tonic – Moisture for the Inside Out. Supports deep hydration, skin elasticity and vital tissue body fluids.

Dryness is not just a skin problem — Traditionally, it is read as a decline in Yin, the body's vital body fluids such as the cooling, moistening, substance-building energy. As we age, travel, or spend time in arid climates, Yin naturally dries creating loose thin skin and elasticity, eyes and mouth feel gritty, digestion runs dry, and intimate tissues lose their natural moisture. Divine Dew Drops is a revered Yin-tonic blend, curated to replenish fluids at the tissue level — supporting skin elasticity and a youthful glow, supports eyes, lungs, oral and nasal tissues, smooth digestion, and moisture where it matters most, including internal sexual tissues. It is the Divine Dew Drops your body reaches for when the air, and the years, run dry.

“A must-have for dry climates, long flights, heated or air-conditioned rooms, and anyone watching their skin, eyes, or intimate comfort shift with age.”

Shake well and tap the bottle three times into your palm before each use. Dispense 2 droppers sublingually by placing drops directly under the tongue. May also be taken by adding 2–3 droppers — to a cup of tea, a warm beverage, or a hot toddy.

Alcohol content disclosure — Divine Dew Drops is a combination of filtered water with 30% grain alcohol used as a carrier herb and preservative to deliver herbal components to various organs throughout the body and to the body’s extremities. Grain alcohol has a warm atmospheric energy, and when used in moderation it has the ability to open up energy channels, unblock stagnation, move blood circulation, activate Yang Qi, warm the Pancreas and Stomach to support assimilation of nutritive herbal components into the body.

  • Not recommended during pregnancy or while nursing.
  • Not recommended for those avoiding alcohol, including individuals in recovery from alcohol use disorder.
  • Use caution if operating a vehicle or heavy machinery.
  • May interact with certain medications (e.g., sedatives, blood thinners) — Consult your healthcare provider before use if on medication.

Note: Do not remove the alcohol from the unused bottled tonic or elixir portion as it is needed for preservation.

Cautions & Warnings

Do not use if:

  • Pregnant, trying to conceive, or breastfeeding. This product contains 30% alcohol by volume and is not appropriate during pregnancy or lactation.
  • You are in recovery from alcohol use disorder, or otherwise avoiding alcohol. Each full serving (2 droppers) contains alcohol; consider a tea-diluted or hot-water preparation to help it evaporate slightly, and note that this may not remove all the alcohol.
  • You are a recovering or current user of medications that interact with alcohol (e.g., metronidazole/Flagyl, disulfiram) — combining these with any alcohol-based tincture can cause a serious reaction.

Use with Caution / Talk to a healthcare provider first if you:

  • Take warfarin or other blood-thinning medication. American Ginseng has been shown to reduce warfarin's effectiveness and can lower INR readings — this combination needs medical supervision. Source: MSKCC American Ginseng monograph
  • Have diabetes or take blood-sugar-lowering medication. American Ginseng may lower blood glucose; monitor levels closely.
  • Have high blood pressure, a heart condition, or kidney disease, or eat a high-sodium diet. Licorice root's glycyrrhizin content can raise blood pressure and lower potassium with regular or long-term use. Source: NCCIH Licorice Root safety overview.
  • Take corticosteroids, diuretics, or digoxin. Licorice can interact with these medications.
  • Are on immunosuppressant medication, biologics, or chemotherapy. Some of the Yin-tonifying herbs here (Lily flower, American Ginseng) may modulate immune activity.
  • Currently have a fever, flu, or acute infection. Tonifying formulas like this one are classically avoided during acute illness, as they can prolong it (Pseudostellaria root, in particular, is not used while a pathogen is "dominant").
  • Have loose stools, a weak digestion, or dampness-type bloating. These Yin-moistening herbs can aggravate that pattern; start with a smaller dropper amount.
  • Are under 18, or currently managing any other medical condition or taking prescription medication.

General Precautions

  • Do not drive or operate heavy machinery until you know how this product affects you — it contains alcohol.
  • Discontinue use and consult a healthcare provider if you experience unusual heart rhythm, swelling, high blood pressure readings, or any adverse reaction.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct light.
  • Consult your healthcare provider before use if you have a medical condition, take medication, or are considering pregnancy.

Fu Ling — Sclerotium Poriae Cocos Supports healthy fluid balance; calms the mind; eases bloating. "Fu Ling is traditionally used to support healthy fluid balance and enhance a calm, settled feeling." Clinical studies have revealed Poria cocos support the body's immune system, due its polysaccharide component Pachymaran, which supports immunomodulatory activity by activating relevant cell-signaling pathways. [PMC network pharmacology study, 2024].

Fú Ling as it is called in TCM, is a popular adaptogen known to “calm the spirit.” This ancient mushroom has been used for centuries in TCM formulations, classified as a tonic herb with mild sedative, immune modulating and diuretic properties. A 2023 clinical trial study conducted on insomnia sufferers with a mean age of 55 concluded that Poria cocos sclerotium improves the quality of sleep. [NIH, PubMed, 2023, Oct 1]. It is often used in modern herbal formulas to help anxiety, tension, stress and insomnia. Poria extracts increase serotonin levels and lower stress-induced sugar cravings. It supports digestive harmony by reducing sluggish digestion, bloating, diarrhea, restrained dampness and edema to normalize metabolic imbalances.

Gan Cao — Honey-Fried Radix Glycyrrhizae Uralensis Harmonizes the formula; supports pancreatic Qi; moderates other herbs. "Honey-fried Licorice Root harmonizes the formula and supports overall balance." Glycyrrhiza uralensis is highly valued for its natural healing and modern research shows anti-inflammatory, antiviral, hepatoprotective and antioxidant properties due to the glycyrrhizin, flavonoids, and triterpenoids compounds responsible for its medicinal effects to detoxify pathogens, clear heat, tonify the pancreas, replenish Qi and harmonize the other herbs in a formula. [NIH, PubMed, 2023, Mar 2].
